The 2026 NBA playoffs will begin this weekend. Thousands of BetMGM players will cast bets on props, totals, and single-game spreads.

Looming over all these options is the NBA championship odds market. While BetMGM has had this market open since last summer, some handicappers prefer to wait until the playoff picture settles to get involved.

Most Likely Teams to Win the 2026 NBA Playoffs

According to BetMGM’s NBA odds, the Thunder are the most likely team to win the 2026 NBA playoffs.

Oklahoma City is +125 to win the title at the end of the regular season. That’s significantly shorter than the other top challengers, San Antonio (+450) and Boston (+550).

The Thunder basketball odds carry an implied probability of 44.4%. If these odds are correct, then Oklahoma City is more likely to lose the title than win it.
