Celtics vs. 76ers Prediction for Game 3
I’m counting on Derrick White’s struggles to continue for my Celtics vs. 76ers prediction in Friday’s Game 3.
White has played 17 games with Jayson Tatum since his return from injury. He’s failed to clear 18.5 points + rebounds in 10 of those games, averaging 13.5 points and 4.3 rebounds.
In this series, White is averaging nine points and 2.5 rebounds. I don’t know why the market hasn’t responded to his struggles, but I like this under at -120 or better.
Lakers vs. Rockets Prediction for Friday
For my Lakers vs. Rockets prediction, I expect Houston to play Reed Sheppard more in Game 3. That’s why I like his chances of scoring 10-plus points.
Sheppard can be picked on defensively, but his gravity on offense will open things up for Houston. The offense is more of a concern for the Rockets, who haven’t scored more than 98 points in a game this round.
Sheppard scored 17 points in Game 1, marking the 16th time he’s reached double figures in the past 19 games since March 13. Sheppard has scored 11-plus points in four of the Rockets’ five head-to-head meetings with the Los Angeles Lakers.
