Magic vs. Pistons Prediction for Game 5
My Magic vs. Pistons prediction will continue to fade Detroit center Jalen Duren by taking the under on his points + rebounds + assists prop (27.5) in Game 5.
Duren has struggled with the size and physicality of the Magic frontcourt in this series. He was often floating near the perimeter in Game 4, rarely getting to the rim or attacking the glass. It’s why Isaiah Stewart closed the game.
Interestingly enough, this PRA line hasn’t dropped from its Game 4 mark. Duren has failed to clear this PRA line in all four matchups, averaging 9.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in this series.
Rockets vs. Lakers Prediction for Wednesday
For my Rockets vs. Lakers prediction, I’m taking the under on Alperen Sengun’s points + rebounds + assists prop (38.5) on Wednesday.
Sengun has only cleared this line once in this series, which occurred during the overtime thriller in Game 3. In the other three matchups, Sengun is averaging 19.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
The Lakers are favored to finish off the series in Game 5, and they will do so by attacking Sengun on the defensive end. That could lead to some minutes where he’s on the bench, as was the case in Game 2.
