My Celtics vs. 76ers prediction suggests taking the under on Jaylen Brown’s assist prop (4.5) for Thursday’s Game 6.
It’s no surprise that Brown’s usage has dropped since Jayson Tatum returned to the lineup. His usage rating of 31% this series is more than 4% below his regular-season mark. He’s averaging 3.4 assists on 9.4 potential dimes, clearing this line just once in five games.
More than that, Brown’s passes are down to 34 per contest. There is a chance that Brown comes through with a big scoring performance to help the Celtics clinch a series win, but I’ll bet against his passing tonight.
Nuggets vs. Timberwolves Prediction for Thursday
For my Nuggets vs. Timberwolves prediction, I’m taking the over on Cameron Johnson’s rebound line (3.5) for Thursday. I also like Minnesota’s spread in what is essentially a Game 7 for the home team.
With Aaron Gordon likely not in the lineup, Denver will play smaller, and Cameron Johnson could be the second-tallest guy on the floor for the visitors. In the 31 games without Gordon, Johnson has averaged four rebounds per game and cleared this line 20 times.
The Nuggets made an aggressive trade for Johnson in the offseason, trading a future Round 1 pick and Michael Porter Jr. They need him to deliver in this spot.
