The Pacific Division should continue to be one of the more exciting division races during the 2024-25 NBA season.
There have been three different division champions in the last three seasons, with the Los Angeles Clippers finishing in first place for the first time since 2013-14 last year. But the Clippers are long shots to repeat, while the Suns enter as betting favorites to win the Pacific.

Pacific Division Betting Prediction
Prediction: Kings/Suns Pacific Division Dual Forecast (+300)
I originally suggested betting this at +500 in my Kings’ team preview earlier this offseason. I wouldn’t necessarily bet it at +300, but it is my prediction for the Pacific Division.
The Suns and Kings are simply better than the rest of the division.
The Clippers, Lakers, and Warriors could all be struggling to make the play-in tournament this year.
Phoenix is my pick to win the division, as there is upside with this team after hiring head coach Mike Budenholzer. But the Kings led the league in offensive rating and were the No. 3 seed in the West just two years ago.
A dual forecast is counting on these two teams to finish in the top-two spots in any order. These two teams deserve to be the favorites in an older division.

The Suns are still searching for their first championship after losing in the opening round following a 49-33 campaign last year.

The Kings traded for DeMar DeRozan in hopes of returning to the postseason this year.
