The San Antonio Spurs are on the board after defeating the New York Knicks in Game 3. The road team has now won all three contests entering Game 4 of the NBA Finals at 8:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden in New York on ABC.

For my Spurs vs. Knicks prediction in Game 4, I’m backing New York to earn the first home win of the series. This pick comes after I liked the Spurs to win Game 3 on Monday.
Until Game 3, New York looked unbeatable. The Knicks suffered their first loss since April 23, snapping a 13-game win streak.
But a lot had to go wrong on Monday night. The Knicks were in foul trouble for much of the night, and shot 10 fewer free throws. New York went 35% from distance. Jalen Brunson went 11-for-25 from the floor in the loss.
And yet, the Knicks still had a chance at the end of their 115-111 defeat. Notably, the NBA betting lines haven’t adjusted much following the most recent result.
As long as New York’s moneyline is -130 or better, I’ll back the home team to prevail on Wednesday night. The Knicks have only dropped consecutive contests once this postseason. They are 19-12 after a loss this season, posting a win rate of 61.3%.
In addition, the Knicks typically have an elite home-court advantage. They are 6-2 with an NBA-best +13.6 net rating at home during this postseason. In the regular season, New York was 30-10 with a +10.3 net rating.
I expect a much better home-court advantage for the Knicks in Game 4.
