Texas Tech star JT Toppin tore his ACL last February, so naturally he will not be ready for the start of the college basketball season.
So, when will he?
“They’re going to take it slow with him,” Jeff Goodman said on a recent Field of 68 live stream with Rob Dauster. “They’re not going to rush him back, but he should be back for league play at the very least, and maybe even before that. Maybe he’s 100% or close to it by February.”
Toppin averaged 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game last year.
