NCAA Tournament Automatic Bids So Far: 2026 March Madness Tracker

When the NCAA Tournament bracket is revealed on Sunday, at least 31 teams will already know they’re in the field of 68.

That’s because those 31 teams will have earned automatic tournament bids by winning their conference. The remaining berths are the 37 NCAA Tournament at-large bids given to the most deserving teams left in Division I, as judged by the committee.

For those closely tracking the early March Madness developments, here’s an updated list of locked tournament bids as teams continue to win their conference tournaments.
