Remember the one-and-done era? It wasn’t so long ago that it felt like college basketball was a deteriorating sport, almost entirely reserved as a stepping stone for 18-year-olds on their way to the NBA.

Older college basketball players? Psh. That was an aberration reserved for, like the Missouri Valley Conference. And, uh, probably BYU. 

That era is dead and buried. With NIL making college basketball a profitable enterprise for good players, and a weakened NCAA granting more waivers than ever before, veteran players have robust representation and a renewed status in college hoops.
