Tennessee vs. Miami (OH): NCAA Tournament First Round

After taking its first loss of the season in last week’s MAC Tournament, Miami surged past SMU on Wednesday night in the First Four finale.

The RedHawks were a big underdog to SMU and expected to lose. Many predictive metrics don’t like them because of how many close games they played throughout the year, especially in the MAC.

Miami is an even bigger underdog to Tennessee, catching 11.5 points as of Thursday morning.

Another big upset would put Miami one step closer to becoming the latest in a handful of First Four teams that made it to the Sweet 16.
