LSU appears to be a 50/50 NCAA Tournament team in its fourth year under Matt McMahon. If the tournament started this week, LSU would probably miss the tournament as one of the first teams out. 

The upshot for Baton Rouge? The LSU basketball odds market shows plenty of opportunities for the Tigers to earn quality wins. But if LSU plays another season as fodder for the top half of the conference, it’ll probably be looking at another year in the NIT.
