Miami is in good shape to make the NCAA Tournament after scoring a win over North Carolina in mid-February.

The Hurricanes have been a bubble team throughout the season, but one or two more good wins should definitively keep them into the field.

Miami (FL) March Madness: Last Season

Miami hasn’t made the NCAA Tournament since 2023 – the year Jim Larranaga got the Hurricanes to the Final Four.

The Miami (FL) basketball odds market has lagged behind many of its conference peers since. New coach Jai Lucas appears to have the Hurricanes back on better footing.

Miami (FL) NCAA Tournament Prediction

I am predicting Miami makes the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

The Hurricanes may have to play in the First Four, depending on what happens in the final weeks of the regular season.

Miami (FL) In the Final Four

Miami is a longshot to return to the Final Four for a second time in four years, but the Hurricanes’ odds aren’t nearly as long as some other teams near the bubble. In general, BetMGM’s Final Four odds market seems to rate several mid-table ACC teams, like Clemson and SMU, in a similar range.
