Miami entered the MAC Tournament with a record of 31-0. It lost to UMass in its first tournament game, falling to 31-1.

You would think any 30-win team would be a lock for the NCAA Tournament. But with Miami’s strength of schedule dreadfully weak, and many of its key conference games going to overtime and/or decided by one possession, some analysts feel Miami isn’t worthy of an at-large bid.
