TCU is deep in the middle of the Big 12 standings, even trailing likely non-tournament teams like West Virginia.

Still, the Horned Frogs are in a good position to potentially make the Field of 68 thanks to a key nonconference win against Florida in November.

TCU March Madness: Last Season

TCU missed the NCAA Tournament in 2025, but made the field in each of the previous three seasons.

TCU Tournament Prediction

I am predicting TCU makes the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

TCU is a potential First Four team right now because of its projection at the very end of the S-curve. But four of the Horned Frogs’ five final regular-season games are against WVU, Arizona State, Kansas State, and Cincinnati.

In other words, they have an excellent chance to finish .500 or better in conference play and receive an at-large bid.

TCU In the Final Four

TCU men’s basketball has never made the Final Four. In fact, TCU hasn’t made it out of the first weekend of the tournament since the NCAA Tournament expanded in the 1980s. Its most recent appearance in a regional final was in 1968.

TCU’s return in BetMGM’s Final Four odds market is appropriately long.
