No team in the NFL is hotter than the New England Patriots right now. The Patriots are currently on a five-game win streak, which is is the longest in the NFL.

This week, the Patriots find themselves in a game against another hot team, the Indianapolis Colts. NFL odds have the Patriots as  This matchup could have significant implications for the playoff race this year. Read on to learn about New England Patriots’ scoring trends over the past five weeks and explore offensive statistics and their Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

Patriots’ Scoring Trends

The Patriots are the hottest team in the NFL and are demolishing their opponents. The Patriots defeated four out of their last five opponents by 18 points or more.

During their five-game win streak, the Pats are putting up 35 points per game. For the season, the Patriots are sixth in the league for points scored per game.

There is a significant caveat that bettors need to be aware of. Only two of the seven Patriots’ wins came against teams with a winning record. As a result, this week’s matchup against the Titans is one of the most challenging games of the season for Bill Belichick and the Patriots.

Patriots’ Offensive Analysis

Rookie quarterback Mac Jones is carrying the Pats offense. Picked with the 15th pick in the 2021 draft, Jones has over 2500 yards passing already.

He has thrown 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season. His quarterback rating is 94.7, an impressive statistic for a rookie quarterback.

The Patriots are putting together this impressive win streak without any Pro Bowl-caliber skill players. However, Jones spreads the ball out well to many different weapons.

Their leading wide receiver is Kendrick Bourne, who has 37 receptions and 562 receiving yards. This amounts to just 51 receiving yards per game. No other wide receiver on the Patriots averages more than 50 yards per game.

Tight end Hunter Henry is a bright spot on the offense. While he has just 378 receiving yards, Henry has caught seven touchdowns on the year.

In the running game, Damien Harris is the team’s leader. He averages over 60 yards rushing per game and 4.2 yards per attempt.

Titans’ Defense

The Titans’ defense is vulnerable and allows a lot of points. They are ranked 18th in the league at allowed points per game. The Titans have allowed 254 points through 11 games, which amounts to 23 points per contest.

The Titans’ defense has allowed the 7th-most total yardage in the league. They also are an undisciplined unit that has surrendered the most penalty yards in the league by a wide margin.

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots Review

The Titans at Patriots is one of the most anticipated games of the week. Both teams are in first place in their division and competing for the first seed in the AFC playoffs.

In my opinion, the Patriots are poised to score a lot of points. They are firing on all cylinders, and the Titans’ defense has been below average this season.
