The NFL divisional races offer bettors a chance to place wagers on the best teams in the league. This season, there’s no shortage of surprises in both the NFC and the AFC.
The NFL betting lines provide lots of intriguing opportunities in Week 10. But, first, let’s see which divisional leaders have the best chances to win.
NFL Week 10: NFL Divisional Races
The NFL divisional races include eight divisions. The four divisional leaders in the NFC are the Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Over in the AFC, the Tennessee Titans held the top spot after a major upset last week on the road against the Los Angeles Rams.
The other three divisional leaders in the AFC are the Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Chargers, and the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills were early favorites to win the Super Bowl. Last week, they lost on the road to the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the worst teams in the NFL.
Next week, they play the New York Jets. Opening lines place the Bills as 13-point favorites on the road. (Last week, they were favored by 14.5 at game time.)
Can the Bills pull themselves together? They’ll need to win to stay atop the AFC East ahead of the surging New England Patriots.
Which Divisional Leaders Have the Best Shot at Winning?
After the Bills, who are almost guaranteed to win against the Jets, the Ravens play on the road against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.
Seven-and-a-half points favor the Ravens with a current money line of -375.
The Cowboys are getting better odds than that this week. Their money line is -500 against the Atlanta Falcons. After beating the New Orleans Saints last week, the Falcons are a game behind the Saints and two games behind the Bucs in the NFC South.
That brings us to the Titans, who are favored at home with a money line of -150 against the Saints.
Next, the Bucs are favored by nine-and-a-half points (and a money line of -450) on the road against the Washington Football Team.
Coming off a bye week at the right time, Tom Brady should have no problem taking down the WTF, a 2-6 squad that gives up 28 points per game.
And let’s not forget the Cardinals.
They are 8-1 after defeating the San Francisco 49ers for the second time this year. Favored by 10 points to win at home against the Carolina Panthers, the Cardinals money line is -550.
The Cardinals lead the NFC, two games ahead of the Packers.
Three-and-a-half points favor the Packers with a money line of -190 at home against the Seahawks.
Finally, the Chargers are favored by only two-and-a-half points at home against the Vikings. The Chargers money line is -140.
Thus, the Bills have the best odds to win this week. Next, it’s the Cardinals, Cowboys, and Bucs. And the Ravens fill out the top five divisional leaders to win in Week 10.
Can the Other NFL Divisional Leaders Win?
The rest of the divisional leaders heading into Week 10 include the Packers, Titans, and Chargers. Each of their games might come down to a field goal.
So long as Aaron Rodgers returns, the Packers have the best chance among those three teams to win this week.
Do you like the Titans or Chargers to win in Week 10? How about any other of the teams in the NFL divisional races this season?
