In Week 18, the NFC West is the only division in the conference still up for grabs. NFL football odds have both of the teams competing for the division’s top spot favored.

Both teams will play divisional games this week. Let’s take a closer look at the NFL betting lines for these matchups.

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-4.5)

The Rams won 20-19 in a close game on the road last week against the Baltimore Ravens. Matthew Stafford threw for 309 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Stafford has thrown six interceptions in his previous three games.

In Week 10 against the 49ers, he went 26-for-41 with 243 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. The Rams got blown out, 31-10. This time, San Francisco may be without QB Jimmy Garoppolo, who sat out last week against the Houston Texans with a thumb injury. He was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday.

Against the Texans, San Francisco rookie QB Trey Lance completed 16 passes for 249 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in a 23-7 victory.

Los Angeles ranks among the top five teams in the NFL for passing yards per game at home (286.0) and overall (277.6). San Francisco’s passing defense ranks fifth in yards allowed per game this season (206.8).

The Rams pass rush is coming alive. They sacked Tyler Huntley five times last week and kept him out of the end zone. The only time the Ravens scored a touchdown came from a Stafford pick-six.

With or without Garoppolo, I believe the 49ers will lean on the combination of RB Elijah Mitchell and WR Deebo Samuel, who rushed for a combined 127 yards against the Rams in Week 10. They will also need their defense to force some turnovers this week.

If Stafford can limit his turnovers, I like the Rams to cover against a rookie QB.

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (-6.5)

These two teams last met in Seattle in Week 11, with the Cardinals winning 23-13. Arizona played that game without starting QB Kyler Murray and WR DeAndre Hopkins.

Last week, the Cardinals won against the Dallas Cowboys, 25-22. Murray threw for 263 yards with two touchdowns. Arizona’s defense held Dallas to 45 total rushing yards.

On the other hand, Seattle beat the Detroit Lions, 51-29. QB Russell Wilson threw four touchdown passes in Seattle’s last home game of the season.

This week, the Seahawks are on the road to finish out the season. The Seattle offense struggles on the road, averaging only 18.9 PPG. The Cardinals are eighth in passing yards per game (255.6), while the Seahawks’ passing defense ranks 31st in the league, giving up 270.4 yards per matchup.

Arizona ranks seventh at passing defense for yards allowed per game (213.5). Seattle’s passing offense ranks 26th at yards per matchup (200.2).

This week, Murray faces one of the league’s worst passing defenses with an opportunity to win the division. I expect continued success through the air for the Cardinals and a win.

NFL Football Odds: Which Team Can Win the NFC West?

According to NFL football odds, the Rams (-450) are a heavy favorite to win the NFC West, and if they win against the 49ers, they win the division. The Cardinals need to win and the Rams to lose, and because I expect both teams to win, I believe the Rams will win the division.

What do you think? Which team do you think will win the NFC West in Week 18?
