What do NFL football odds say about your dream matchup for Super Bowl LVI?

Going into Week 14, clear NFL favorites have started to emerge for a championship run. Moreover, a couple of teams at the top of the NFL favorites list have held those positions for several weeks.

Let’s look at the three teams with the best NFL betting odds for this year’s championship.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+500)

Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 9-3 and four games up on the NFC South. Rob Gronkowski is healthy again, adding more firepower to the 2nd ranked offense in the NFL. Brady is having another stellar year with 3,771 yards, 34 TDs, and 10 INTs.

The Buccaneers host the Buffalo Bills in Week 14. After this week, they have no more games against teams with a winning record. NFL betting has Tampa Bay at +500 to repeat as Super Bowl champs.

Last year, the Buccaneers went on the road for the entire playoffs, so they’ve proven that they can win important games on the road. However, the Bucs are undefeated at home this season, so playing in Tampa would be a massive advantage. Either way, someone will have to knock off the reigning champs to get to Super Bowl LVI.

Kansas City Chiefs (+650)

After a 3-4 start to the season, the Kansas City Chiefs rattled off five wins in a row. The Chiefs are now 8-4 and on top of the AFC West. As a result, NFL betting has Kansas City at +650 to win the Super Bowl.

The only team with a better record than Kansas City in the AFC is the New England Patriots at 9-4, who have a bye in Week 14. The Chiefs play all five of their remaining games within the conference. Three games are against divisional rivals.

The Chiefs can distance themselves in the AFC West and possibly get back to the number one seed for the playoffs in the next five weeks. It’s no surprise then they are NFL favorites for a third straight trip to the Super Bowl.

Green Bay Packers (+700)

At 9-3, the Green Bay Packers are currently the number 2 seed in the NFC playoff race. However, one of the main reasons they have the third-highest odds to win the Super Bowl is that they are 5-0 at home.

The Packers have three more home games left, and the Packers are heavy Week 14 favorites at -12.5 against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.

Aaron Rodgers is in the MVP conversation again, but Green Bay’s defense has made a lot of the difference. The Packers rank in the top ten in every defensive category except sacks. As a result, NFL odds have them at +700 to win the Super Bowl.

The only team ahead of Green Bay in the NFC seeding is the Arizona Cardinals at 10-2. But the Packers have the tie-breaker edge, having won their only meeting with Arizona.

Two other NFL favorites are worth watching through the last weeks of the 2021 season. The Arizona Cardinals (+750) and the New England Patriots (+750) round out the top-five teams in BetMGM’s Super Bowl odds.

The Cardinals are getting healthy at the right time, and the Patriots have found a winning formula that centers on defense and efficient turnover-free football.
