As the NFL season progresses, every week becomes more interesting. Week 2 brought glory for the Packers and Buccaneers and incredibly tight wins for the Titans, Cowboys, and Chiefs.

Week 3 has some interesting NFL odds in the AFC. There are four games in particular that I believe present the most interesting opportunities for bettors. Read on to learn more about the AFC lines and my four favorite NFL game lines for the week.

AFC Lines For Week 3

  • Chicago Bears at Cleveland Browns (-7)
  • Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)
  • Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (-5.5)
  • Baltimore Ravens at Detroit Lions (+8)
  • Washington Football Teams at Buffalo Bills (-8)
  • Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders (-4)

Denver Broncos (-10.5) vs. New York Jets

The Broncos’ NFL odds have been steady so far due to a solid offense and strong defense. In comparison, the Jets have felt a little stagnant over the last two weeks. They’re clearly in rebuilding mode.

If you’re feeling adventurous, there’s always the possibility of the Jets keeping this game close. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough faith in the Jet’s offense.

New Orleans Saints vs. New England Patriots (-2.5)

This season, the Saints seemed to be doing well with a great performance in Week 1 against the Packers. Unfortunately, Week 2 brought a humbling defeat vs. the Carolina Panthers.

The Patriots come into Week 3 at 1-1 after a close loss vs. the Dolphins, followed by a win against the New York Jets. Rookie QB Mac Jones is playing mistake-free football, and the Patriot’s defense should be able to shut the Saints down.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Jameis Winston responds after having a rough outing last week when he completed 11 of 22 passes for 111 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. His performance wasn’t all his fault, as he was under pressure on 64% of his dropbacks, but the Patriots are going to bring pressure as well.

This matchup doesn’t look good for the Saints.

Arizona Cardinals (-7.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville (0-2) is having a rough season so far. It’s hard to imagine the Cardinals not scoring at least 30 points against the Jaguars’ defense. It’s even harder to imagine Trevor Lawrence and Jacksonville being able to score enough points to keep up with the potent Cardinals’ offense.

Taking the over makes sense, but at +350, taking the under might intrigue some bettors who question whether Jacksonville can score more than seven points.

LA Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5)

The Chargers disappointed many fans last week against the Cowboys. Kansas City’s defense has struggled a little, but Patrick Mahomes should be able to move the ball against the Charger’s defense.

The question for bettors in this game is whether Justin Herbert and LA’s offense can keep up with the Chiefs. I’m expecting a close win in this game for Kansas City.
