If you’re looking for the best NFL betting lines in Week 13, you should have plenty of options. Things are getting tight for the playoff picture in both the NFC and AFC.
That means you should be able to find decent value in the NFL this week. Let’s take a closer look at some of the top wagers.
Bills vs. Patriots (+120)
If you’re looking for the most value for your wagers in the NFL this week, you’ll want to go with the teams that have been playing consistently well.
First, we’ll look at the Patriots, who opened as a three-point underdog for their game on Monday Night Football.
The Pats’ money line is +120. They’ve won six games in a row, covering the spread each time. While I wouldn’t mind taking the Pats to cover against the Buffalo Bills, the money line offers a slightly better payout.
The Patriots have the third-best passing defense in the NFL and are excellent at putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks. They’re currently fifth in the NFL with 30 sacks. Over the past four weeks, they’ve outscored opponents 130-26.
To me, this money line is an excellent bet.
Bears vs. Cardinals (-7.5)
Going down the list, the Arizona Cardinals have been one of the best teams in this NFL this season. They’ll be taking to the road to face the Chicago Bears this week.
Arizona on the money line at (-350) is way too steep. They are favored by 7.5 points at (-110), which in my opinion, is a much better wager.
Some of their key players had been dealing with injuries, including quarterback Kyler Murray. Murray had been an early contender for the 2021 MVP award this year. Backup Colt McCoy has gone 2-1 in Murray’s absence, but the Cardinals may get wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins back this week, along with Murray.
I’d take the Cardinals as another great bet in Week 13. The Bears are just no match for one of the top offenses in the NFC. Chicago only averages 16.3 points per game, and they have the worst passing offense in the NFL (169.8 yards per game). Their defense is solid, but they don’t have the ability offensively to keep up with Arizona.
Cincinnati vs. Los Angeles (+135)
Better payouts come with more risk. So, let’s briefly consider some teams that might offer that for your wagers this week.
The Los Angeles Chargers have lost two out of their last three games. They will face the Cincinnati Bengals this week, but they’ve done well on the road as the underdog and are 2-1 ATS in these spots. I’d be willing to take their money line at (+135).
The Chargers will need to put a lot of points on the board, and I think they are capable of doing it against the Bengals. The Chargers have the 6th best passing offense (280.8 yards per game), and the Bengals rank 25th in passing yards allowed per game.
The Chargers also have the fifth-best passing defense, so if this game turns into a shootout, I believe that the Chargers can get enough stops to win this game.
