Another week of football betting is here, with BetMGM already having the latest NFL betting lines up for these NFL games.

Week 14 brings a lot of exciting matchups in the NFL this week, with a few AFC teams standing out as good picks against the spread. Which teams will cover? These are some AFC matchups to watch.

Browns (-2.5) vs. Ravens

The Cleveland Browns are taking on the Baltimore Ravens for the second time in three weeks, and I like them to get revenge this time. They fell 16-10 in their first meeting two weeks ago but have since had a bye week to prepare for the rematch.

I think Cleveland matches up well with Baltimore because they are a defense that limits the other team’s ability to drive down the field. The Browns currently rank third in the NFL in total yards allowed per game (315.6).

The Ravens struggle with turnover margin, owning the third-worst in the NFL at -8. QB Lamar Jackson threw four interceptions in his last meeting with the Browns. Cleveland also made mistakes, like a penalty for too many men on the field on a Ravens fourth-and-2 and a missed 46-yard field goal. This time, if Baltimore doesn’t do a better job of protecting the ball, I believe that the Browns will win and cover.

Chiefs (-9.5) vs. Raiders

This game is a story of two teams heading in different directions, with the Kansas City Chiefs winning their last five games and the Las Vegas Raiders losing four of their previous five games.

At one point this season, Kansas City was one of the least reliable ATS teams in the NFL, but it has gotten its act together lately by covering its last three games.

Part of the reason I like the Chiefs to cover here is that their defense has played fantastic for a full month now. They have allowed just 39 total points in their previous four games, including 14 to the Raiders in Las Vegas during that stretch.

If the Chiefs continue to get that kind of effort from their defense, I think they should be able to cover the spread at home.

Broncos (-7.5) vs. Lions

I think this is a great spot to pick the Denver Broncos.

The Detroit Lions are coming off their first win of the season and will face the Broncos this week, who have a 3-1 record against teams that are currently under .500.

The Broncos allow the third-fewest points in the NFL (18.2). The Lions already struggle to score points, ranking 29th in points per game (16.9).

Denver has played two other offenses with similar struggles in scoring points in the New York Giants (28th) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (31st). They held those teams to 13 points each and won both games by double digits.

The Broncos defense ranks seventh in total yards given up this season. I don’t think the Detroit Lions will be able to summon much of an offense this week against Denver.
