  • I predict Jonathan Taylor finishes over 98.5 rushing yards vs San Francisco.
  • My prediction for George Kittle’s over/under receiving yards (68.5 yards).

With the NFC’s top seed suddenly in play, San Francisco travels for Colts vs 49ers on MNF.

In addition to the pregame spread and total, bettors can now find NFL odds for player props at the BetMGM online sportsbook.

Below, I’ve outlined a pair of player prop predictions for the non-conference matchup. Odds are reflective at time of writing and are subject to movement.

Colts vs 49ers Prediction: MNF Player Props

Jonathan Taylor Over 98.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Even if you think the 49ers win and cover, Taylor could still clear this benchmark.

San Francisco has really struggled against the run of late. For the season, the defense ranks 26th in rush defense DVOA, per ftnfantasy.com.

The unit has particularly struggled of late, despite facing Cleveland and Tennessee. Both offenses rank 25th or worse in rush offense DVOA.

Quinshon Judkins notched 23 carries for 91 yards. Last week, Tony Pollard rushed for 104 yards on 14 carries.

Only once in his last five games has Taylor amassed under 20.5 carries. Last week, he faced a Seahawks defense that leads the league in rush defense DVOA.

Despite that fact, he notched 87 yards on 25 attempts. Now he gets his easiest test on defense since a Berlin meeting with the Falcons.

It’s clearly different with Phillip Rivers playing instead of Daniel Jones. But Seattle had to know what was coming and still couldn’t limit Taylor.

Although there’s a slight concern that Taylor has only cleared this number in wins this season, I predict he succeeds against a bad defense.

George Kittle Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

It didn’t show last week, but Indianapolis has generally struggled against tight ends this year.

The Colts defense ranks 22nd in DVOA against tight ends. On average, those players are catching 8.4 receptions for 67 yards.

Against comparable tight ends this season, Indy has particularly struggled. Orande Gadsden notched 167 yards against the Colts. Trey McBride added 72 yards against Indianapolis.

Beyond that trend, the Colts’ defensive scheme also favors Kittle. Entering Week 16, Lou Anarumo’s defense runs zone coverage at the league’s 10th-highest clip.

Despite missing time, Kittle leads all 49ers skill players with a 24.8% target share against zone. His 357 receiving yards against zone ranks third on the team, despite missing five games.

Dating back to Week 10, Kittle is averaging 7.8 targets and 6.6 receptions for 76.8 yards. He’s also cleared this benchmark in all five of those games.

Lastly, 49ers receiver Ricky Pearsall could miss Monday’s game with an injury. This season, Pearsall holds a 20.5% target share vs. zone.

His absence could create more opportunities for other San Francisco skill players. Pair that with Kittle’s recent target share, and I predict he clears a lower benchmark.
