In terms of his receptions prop, Harrison Jr. has cleared this threshold only twice this season. However, he’s simultaneously received at least five targets in all but one game this season.
The only time he failed to reach five targets? At Indianapolis, when he sustained an injury midway through the game.
On Monday, he gets a very favorable matchup against a zone-heavy Cowboys pass defense. This season, 17 of Harrison’s 20 receptions came against zone coverage.
To date, the second-year wide receiver has played four games against teams running zone at a 75% rate or higher. Both of his successes against the receptions prop came in those games.
Dallas runs zone coverage at the league’s eighth-highest rate. Per PFF, the unit ranks 30th or worst in yards allowed per coverage target and yards allowed per coverage snap in zone.
In addition to clearing 4.5 receptions twice against zone, Harrison Jr. has quietly racked up yards against zone.
Only 16 NFL wide receivers amassed more yards against zone than Harrison. Irrespective of coverage scheme, he cleared 55.5 yards four times in seven games.
Based on those outputs, I predict a strong game for Harrison on Monday.
