The Atlanta Falcons’ Bijan Robinson rates as my top running back entering the 2026-27 NFL season.
He peaked in 2025, rushing for a career-high 1,478 yards. Robinson added 820 receiving yards on 79 receptions, also career highs. Last year, he finished fourth in NFL OPOY voting.
Robinson narrowly edges Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley in my rankings. McCaffrey offers a similar profile, but has struggled to stay healthy.
Barkley won the 2024 Offensive Player of the Year award after clearing 2,000 yards. In his last four seasons, Barkley cleared 1,100 rushing yards three times.
