The Los Angeles Chargers enter free agency with loads of spending power.

Even after a rumored agreement with former Commanders Tyler Biadasz, the Chargers remain amongst the NFL teams with the most cap space.

Before an agreement with Biadasz, the Chargers’ cap space came in at $99 million, the most in the NFL.

How should the Chargers spend that money to make a run in the AFC West? Find two free agency targets for the team below.

Chargers Free Agency Targets: 2 Signings to Help Los Angeles

Odafe Oweh, Chargers Edge Rusher

Los Angeles acquired Oweh during the season, swapping Alohi Gilman for the former Ravens edge rusher.

Both Oweh and Khalil Mack are set to hit free agency. However, Oweh offers a superior profile at only 28 years old.

Inclusive of his time with Baltimore last year, Oweh ranked 10th in ESPN’s pass-rush win rate metric. That ranking placed him ahead of Brian Burns, Maxx Crosby and Aidan Hutchinson.

Oweh will likely command a big contract on the open market. However, given his effectiveness rushing the passer last year, Los Angeles likely benefits from re-signing him.

Isaac Seumalo, Pittsburgh Steelers Guard

LA’s offensive line features cornerstones at tackle: Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater.

Both will enter the 2026 season off an injury. Alt missed part of the season with Slater missing the entire campaign.

The interior leaves much to be desired and calls for a massive upgrade. This offseason, Bradley Bozeman retired and the Chargers released Mechi Becton.

Seumalo posted strong metrics in Pittsburgh. He trailed only two interior linemen in pass-block win rate and three linemen in run-block win rate.

Those placements instantly provide an upgrade over Becton at the same position. Accordingly, Seumalo should receive consideration from the Chargers.
