Jeffery Simmons Contract: Salary, Extension, Guaranteed Money

The Tennessee Titans went 12-5 in 2021, capping their most successful regular season in nearly 15 years with an appearance in the divisional round of the playoffs.

It’s mostly been downhill from there. Tennessee has been struggling through a rebuild ever since. The franchise drafted quarterback Cam Ward No. 1 overall in 2025, but there are few other highlights to show right now.

Maybe the only exception is Jeffery Simmons, the team’s defensive stalwart and one of the best players in franchise history. His size and athleticism on the interior makes Tennessee’s defensive front an unpleasant assignment for opposing protection groups. 

Simmons alone can’t do much for the Titans’ odds market. But with two years left on his contract in 2026, the front office made sure he got a hefty contract extension. 

Jeffery Simmons Contract

In June 2026, Jeffery Simmons signed a three-year extension with the Titans worth $105.9 million. 

The contract included $60.2 million in total guaranteed money at signing, with $20 million of that in the form of a signing bonus. An additional $40 million is set to become guaranteed by the fifth day of the 2028 NFL calendar.

Prior to signing this deal, Simmons was under contract through 2027. The extension now keeps him in Nashville through 2030.

Jeffery Simmons will earn $33 million from his NFL contract in 2026.

More than half of that – $20 million – is from the signing bonus from his new extension. The other $13 million is structured as base salary, AKA game checks.
