Following a Week 5 bye week, the Packers return to action as big favorites against the Bengals.
Last we saw Green Bay, the Packers tied with the Cowboys as road favorites. The tie dropped Green Bay to 2-1-1 after a 2-0 start to the season.
Cincinnati struggled once again in Week 5. As 10.5-point home underdogs, Cincinnati lost by 13 against the Detroit Lions. It marks the second loss in a row by double digits.

Based on Green Bay’s rest advantage and their defensive success early at home, my Packers vs Bengals prediction is the Bengals 1H Team Total Under.
Cincinnati scored 24 points against the Lions. However, most of that output came in garbage time with the game out of reach.
The Bengals scored three points in the first three quarters before exploding for 21 in the fourth. That came when Detroit entered the fourth quarter with a 28-3 advantage.
Now the Bengals travel to face a comparable Packers defense. For the year, Detroit sits second in defensive DVOA compared to third for Green Bay.
The difference? Green Bay has faced the fourth-hardest set of offenses, while Detroit has played the second-easiest schedule.
Over the last three weeks, the Bengals have scored nine first-half points. Green Bay has played two games at home this year and held Detroit and Washington six COMBINED points.
In Week 3 against Cleveland, Green Bay held the Browns to zero first-half points.
All that success came undone in Dallas, which scored 16 second-half points to balloon Green Bay’s average.
But right now, Cincinnati’s offense rates out closer to Cleveland than Dallas. For the season, Cincinnati ranks 31st in offensive DVOA, a spot behind Cleveland.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys sit sixth in that category.
Ultimately, this prediction comes down to the line. For me to entertain the other side, I’d have to see the line set at 2.5 points or lower.
However, if this line comes in at 3.5 or higher, I predict another success for the Green Bay defense.
