Based on Puka Nacua’s likely absence on Sunday and the Jaguars’ run-heavy approach, my Rams vs Jaguars prediction is the Total Under 45.5 Points (-110).
It sounds unlikely that Nacua, one of the NFL Offensive Player of the Year favorites, plays on Sunday in London.
That’s an enormous blow to the Rams offense. Without Nacua, Los Angeles averaged only 4.7 yards per play against Baltimore and struggled with him missing snaps against Houston.
Jacksonville’s defense sits around league average. Through six games, Anthony Campanile’s unit ranks 16th in defensive DVOA, per ftnfantasy.com.
The good news? Jacksonville has faced the league’s 10th-hardest set of offenses. It’s likely that by Sunday the Rams will play down from their fourth-place offensive DVOA rating.
The unknown for this game is what version of LA’s defense shows up in London.
Chris Shula’s defense surrendered 33 to Philadelphia, 20 (27 if you count A.D. Mitchell’s touchdown) to Indy and 26 to San Francisco.
