Aden Durde enters his second season as the Seahawks’ defensive coordinator.
Durde joined the Seahawks’ coaching staff when Seattle hired Mike MacDonald. In Durde’s first year, Seattle ranked 11th in defensive points allowed.
Including Seattle, Durde has worked for three NFL teams. His previous stops came with the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys.
Durde worked two separate spells with the Cowboys: 2014-15 and 2021-23. In the former spell, he served as a coaching intern with Dan Quinn.
For the latter period, he worked as Dallas’s defensive line coach.
In between, Durde spent four years with the Falcons in three different roles:
- 2016: Coaching Intern
- 2018-19: Defensive Assistant
- 2020: Outside Linebackers Coach
Durde, a United Kingdom native, also spent time in the BAFANL. From 2011-16, he worked as the London Warriors’ defensive coordinator.
