Dennard Wilson enters his second year as Titans defensive coordinator in 2025.
Wilson’s arrival coincided with head coach Brian Callahan. The second-year head coach brought Wilson from Baltimore, where he worked as a defensive backs coach.
Wilson’s foray into coaching began with five years in high school and college. In 2009, he joined the Bears as a pro scout.
After three years in Chicago, Wilson joined the Rams. He worked three seasons in defensive quality control, followed by two as a defensive backs coach.
He continued in the latter role with the Jets. For four years (2017-20), Wilson worked with New York’s DB’s and spent his final two years as the defensive pass game coordinator.
A switch to Philadelphia followed in 2021. Wilson spent two years in Philly as the DB’s coach, including one year as the defensive pass game coordinator.
After a year with John Harbaugh in Baltimore, Wilson switched to Tennessee as DC.
On debut, Tennessee finished second in yards allowed but 30th in points allowed thanks to a weak special teams unit.
