Holz joined Tennessee alongside current head coach Brian Callahan last season. Last season, he coordinated a Titans offense that ranked 31st in offensive DVOA, per ftnfantasy.com.
This season marks Holz’s third straight campaign working in the AFC South. In 2023, he worked as the pass game coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Prior to a one-year stint at UNLV in 2022, Holz spent most of his coaching career with the Raiders.
From 2012-2021, Holz worked in three different positions with the Raiders:
- 2012-14: Offensive Assistant
- 2015-16 & 2018-20: Offensive Quality Control
- 2017 & 2021: Assistant Wide Receivers Coach
Prior to joining the NFL ranks, Holz began his career with five seasons working in Division I.
Holz began his coaching career with a season at Nebraska in quality control. Then, he worked four seasons at Stanford as an offensive assistant.
