Titans vs Jets Odds: Spread, Moneyline & Over/Under

Jets vs Titans Prediction

Based on the Jets’ strength against the run last year and impressive defensive metrics early in 2025, my Titans vs Jets prediction is the Jets Spread (+2.5, -105).

The spread prices indicate a move to Jets +3 could come before kickoff. Personally, I much prefer the underdog on a key number instead of the current odds.

That said, it’s the Jets to cover or nothing in this game.

New York dropped seven in a row to open Aaron Glenn’s tenure. However, it came while the defense repeatedly did its job and kept the team in games.

In their first seven games, the Jets defense ranked 18th in EPA per play vs. fourth in success rate (excluding turnovers). Translated, it means they allowed almost exclusively big plays.

Most of those big play struggles came against the pass.

New York ranked 22nd in dropback EPA vs. 11th in rush EPA. The unit ranked fifth and sixth, respectively, in the corresponding success rate categories.

It’s my belief they won’t see a ton of explosive plays against the Titans. Tennessee lacks quality offensive line play to give Cam Ward time to hit shots down the field.

Additionally, Tennessee should struggle to run the ball. For the entire 2025 season, the Titans ranked 25th in rush offense DVOA whereas the Jets ranked 16th in rush defense DVOA.

Conjunctively, the Jets offense possesses the higher ceiling of the two units in this game. While the offense ranked 30th in DVOA last year, the sample includes five Brady Cook starts.

Geno Smith arrives to play behind a significantly better offensive line than Las Vegas. If there’s a concern, it’s the unknown about the Jets’ interior against Jeffrey Simmons.

But New York also showed signs of life running the football. In those first seven games of the year, the Jets ranked 22nd in rush EPA per play vs. 14th in rushing success rate.

Lastly, it’s the first time ever Cam Ward will (presumably) close a market favorite. Due to that trend and the Jets’ defensive potential, I predict New York stays within the number.
