Tyreek Hill entered 2026 NFL free agency after the Miami Dolphins released the wide receiver.Â
Hill remains unsigned as of March 12. The 32-year-old wide receiver missed the majority of last season after suffering a knee injury that included a torn ACL.Â
The injury resulted in Hill recording a second straight year under 1,000 receiving yards. In 2023, he led the NFL in that category while scoring 13 touchdowns.Â
Tyreek Hill Contract: Predicting Hill’s Free Agency Deal
Any team evaluating Hill likely understands the risk factor associated with the receiver.Â
Plus, Hill’s Dolphins contracts still had guarantees left on the deal. Accordingly, he’ll likely command a small average annual value.Â
This free agency window provided some comparable contracts to what Hill might receive.Â
Chicago signed Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond to a one-year, $3.26 million deal. Arizona signed Kendrick Bourne for two years at a $5 million annual average.Â
Those receivers lack Hill’s ceiling if all goes well. However, they also come with a smaller injury risk.Â
Look for a one-to-two-year deal for Hill around $4-5 million per season. Most teams will likely want to see a year coming off an injury, so a multi-season agreement would surprise me.Â
Tyreek Hill Next Team Predictions
I’m intrigued by Washington as a potential destination for Hill. That assumes the team elects to move on from Deebo Samuel, another free agent.Â
Hill spent a lot of time as a slot receiver during his efficient seasons. That role has been vacated with Samuel’s contract expiration, so the former Chief could provide a cheaper alternative.Â
It also provides a reliable target – assuming full health – for Jayden Daniels while maximizing the quarterback’s window.Â
If not Washington, look for teams like Houston, Las Vegas or even Kansas City to potentially get involved.Â
