As NFL training camps approach, outside linebacker Von Miller remains a free agent.
The 37-year-old has played for four teams over the course of his 16-year NFL career.
So, who could he play with next, and what will his contract look like?
Von Miller Contract: Predicting Miller’s Next Deal
Given his age, it’s more likely than not that he will just be getting one-year deals for the remainder of his career.
Last year with Washington, he played on a one-year, $6.1 million contract and was a part-time player who finished with nine sacks, six tackles for loss, and 19 quarterback pressures.
This is likely a good baseline for his next contract, which likely will be somewhere in the one-year, $5-7 million range.
Von Miller Next Team Predictions
For a few reasons, it’s likely his next team will be a team capable of winning the Super Bowl. No. 1, that likely is Miller’s main reason for playing now, and No. 2, any team that signs him is likely looking for a player like him to take them over the top.
Some teams that come to mind are the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams.
