Can Washington Commanders Exceed Win Total (7.5) in 2022?

The Washington Commanders haven’t won more than seven games in a season since 2016, one of just six seasons with at least eight wins in the last 20 years. To exceed this year’s NFL win total (7.5) at the online sportsbook, they’ll have to win at least eight games.

One year removed from their second straight seven-win season – and fourth in the last five years – the Commanders added Carson Wentz via trade, signed Terry McLaurin to a three-year extension, and continued the waiting game on Chase Young as the edge rusher recovers from a torn ACL.

Did they do enough over the offseason to warrant a bet on over 7.5 wins? And if they didn’t, will Ron Rivera land on the NFL hot seat by season’s end?

Chelsa Messinger, Michael Jenkins, and Scott Jackson discussed the Commanders’ win total on The Daily Tip this week. You can listen to The Daily Tip live on Audacy radio stations from 6-9 a.m. ET on weekdays, and check out the show as a podcast on Apple Podcasts and elsewhere.
