The Bears and the Packers are one of the most historic rivalries in all of football, and they’re set to play this weekend for the 205th time.

If you want to bet on NFL games, here are online sports betting insights for the Chicago Bears playing at the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Commanders facing off with the Detroit Lions, as well as Miami taking on Texas A&M at the college level.

NFL

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

Sunday, Sept. 18 | TV: NBC | 8:20 p.m. ET

The Bears began the season with an impressive win over the 49ers, while the Packers lost 23-7 to the Vikings a week ago. Yet the Packers have an NFL betting line of -10 as of Thursday, Sept. 15.

Justin Fields wasn’t extremely efficient in that rainy 19-10 victory against San Francisco, but he made crucial plays down the stretch. He bought time with his legs and threw for 121 yards, two touchdowns and a pick on 8-of-17 passing.

Khalil Herbert led Chicago in rushing with 45 yards and a TD. The Bears also kept the 49ers out of the end zone for the entire second half.

Meanwhile, the Packers are forced to recover after an abysmal loss at Minnesota. Aaron Rodgers was 22 for 34 through the air for 195 yards, no touchdowns and a pick.

At running back, Aaron Jones (five carries, 49 yards) and AJ Dillon (10 carries, 45 yards) supplied some offense on the ground, while Dillon (five catches, 46 yards) was also the Packers’ leading receiver.

Green Bay’s offense will need to get back on track if the team is going to cover.

Washington Commanders at Detroit Lions

Sunday, Sept. 18 | TV: FOX | 1 p.m. ET

Similar to the division-rival Packers, the Lions are coming off a loss and are NFL betting favorites in Week 2 at -1.5 against the Commanders at home.

The Lions did nearly come back to take down the Eagles but ultimately fell 38-35. Jared Goff completed 21 of 37 passes for 215 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, completing eight passes to Amon-Ra St. Brown for 64 yards and one of those scores.

D’Andre Swift ran for 144 yards and a touchdown on 15 attempts, while Jamaal Williams scored two more TDs. But the Lions’ offense wasn’t enough to overcome their early mistakes on defense.

The Commanders beat the Jaguars 28-22 last week. Carson Wentz threw for four touchdowns and 313 yards on 27-for-41 passing while throwing two picks. Antonio Gibson led Washington in both rushing (14 carries, 58 yards) and receiving (seven catches, 72 yards).

Washington forced Jacksonville to go 3 of 12 on third down and 2 of 5 in the red zone. A similar defensive performance would greatly help in Week 2.

College Football

Miami at Texas A&M

Saturday, Sept. 17 | TV: ESPN | 9 p.m. ET

Texas A&M was ranked sixth in the country after falling to unranked Appalachian State, 17-14, last week. Though now ranked 24th, the Aggies have a football betting line of -6 against No. 13 Miami.

Haynes King leads Texas A&M through the air with 461 yards, three touchdowns and two picks while completing 33 of 51 passes to go with 52 rushing yards. Devon Achane has 108 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Ainias Smith has 185 yards and two touchdowns on 10 receptions.

In the last two weeks, Miami has beaten Bethune-Cookman 70-13 and Southern Miss 30-7.

Tyler Van Dyke paces the Hurricanes with 454 yards and three touchdowns on 33-for-45 passing and has thrown one pick. Henry Parrish Jr. has 217 rushing yards and four TDs. Xavier Restrepo leads the team with 172 yards on 11 receptions with a touchdown.
