NFL

Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders

Sunday, Oct. 2 | TV: CBS | 4:25 p.m. ET

The Broncos and Raiders are both trying to get back on track in different ways. The Raiders’ NFL betting line is -2.5 as of Thursday, Sept. 29.

After entering the season with high hopes, the Raiders have begun the year 0-3 by a collective 13 points. They fell to the Los Angeles Chargers 24-19 in Week 1, the Arizona Cardinals 29-23 in overtime the following week and 24-22 to the Tennessee Titans last week.

Derek Carr has passed for 850 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions on a 60.8% completion rate. Josh Jacobs leads the team with 192 rushing yards on 42 carries. Mack Hollins (240 yards) and Davante Adams (189 yards) lead the team in receiving.

After an abysmal 17-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1, the Broncos have won their last two games. They defeated the Houston Texans 16-9 in Week 2 and the San Francisco 49ers 11-10 in Week 3.

Russell Wilson has thrown for 743 yards, two touchdowns and one pick while completing 59.4% of his passes. Javonte Williams (176 yards) and Melvin Gordon III (131 yards) are the Broncos’ rushing leaders. Courtland Sutton (291 yards) and Jerry Jeudy (130 yards) pace the team in receiving.

Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This duel between the Chiefs (+800) and the Buccaneers (+1000) is between two top-five Super Bowl odds favorites. The Buccaneers have a football betting line of -1.

The Chiefs were playing well on both sides of the ball in wins over the Cardinals and Chargers to start the season. Then they lost to the Colts, 20-17, last week.

The Buccaneers also suffered their first loss of the season in Week 3. They beat the Cowboys and the Saints to begin the year, then lost to the Packers 14-12.

For the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes has completed 67.9% of his passes for 857 yards, eight touchdowns and one pick. Clyde Edwards-Helaire has 116 rushing yards and 115 receiving yards this season. Travis Kelce leads the team in catches (17) and receiving yards (230).

While completing 65% of his passes, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has thrown for 673 yards, three touchdowns and one pick. Leonard Fournette (227 yards) paces Tampa Bay on the ground. Mike Evans (132 yards) and Russell Gage (128 yards) are both in triple digits for receiving yards.

College Football

North Carolina State Wolfpack at Clemson Tigers

Saturday, Oct. 1 | TV: ABC | 7:30 p.m. ET

One of the two top-10 ranked teams in the ACC will suffer its first loss of the season. No. 5-ranked Clemson (4-0) has a college football betting line of -6.5 as of Thursday, Sept. 29, against No. 10 NC State (4-0).

The Tigers are a week removed from a 51-45 double overtime win over then-No. 21 Wake Forest. NC State, meanwhile, has yet to play a ranked opponent but has outscored four teams 144-47.
