There are 15 NHL games on the slate Friday, which is the final night of the regular season. Beginning Saturday, the NHL betting community will focus on the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Instead of looking at NHL betting lines Friday, how about some player props?
Here are two to take a look at.
Travis Konecny Over 2.5 Shots (-145)
Travis Konecny leads Philadelphia in scoring with 16 goals and 36 assists in 78 games. He is second on the team in shots per game with 2.78, 0.28 more than he’ll need to have this wager come through.
He’ll be facing a Senators team that allows the 10th-most goals per game in the NHL with 3.23 (tied with Anaheim). Ottawa also gives up a lot of chances, allowing the sixth-most shots per game with 33.4 (also tied with Anaheim).
In two games against the Sens this season, Konecny had two assists and six shots. Over his past five games, he has two goals, three assists, and 21 shots.
Konecny has been scoring well lately and is getting a lot of opportunities on offense. Both of these teams give up many chances, so the game will be pretty wide open and Konecny should exceed 2.5 shots Friday.

Jason Robertson Over 2.5 Shots (-155)
Jason Robertson showed up in a big way this season, scoring 40 goals and 38 assists in 73 games. He was one of the more underrated players, but many people have taken notice of how skilled he is.
Robertson not only leads Dallas in goals, but he also leads them in shots per game with 2.97.
He’s up against a Ducks team that allows the sixth-most shots per game in the NHL with 33.4 (tied with Ottawa). Anaheim also allows the 10th-most goals per game in the NHL with 3.23 (also tied with Ottawa). In two games against the Ducks this season, Robertson had one assist but, more importantly, had five shots. Over his past five games, he’d 19 shots, nearly four per game.
As long as Dallas doesn’t sit Robertson for the last game of the regular season, he should come through with 2.5 shots on Friday night.
