- The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is the second PGA Tour signature event of the year.
- Why Justin Thomas is due for a win.
- Detailing why Patrick Cantlay and Beau Hossler provide good value this week.
It is a big week on the PGA Tour, with the second PGA Tour signature event of the year โ the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Players will play Spyglass Hills and Pebble Beach Golf Links on Thursday and Friday before just Pebble Beach on Saturday and Sunday. The amateur portion of the event is the first two rounds only.
The field is the deepest of the year, with Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy set to make their 2025 PGA Tour debuts.ย
Wyndham Clark is the defending champion, although the event was shortened to 54 holes.
As of Tuesday morning, Scheffler has the best odds to win this week at +500.
These courses, especially Pebble Beach, are not long and known for small greens. Longer hitters do not have much of an advantage, and it will come down to who puts themselves in the best positions off the tee as well as with approach shots.
When it comes to golf betting this week, I will be focusing on players who have the best Strokes Gained: Approach, Proximity 100-125 yards, Good Drives Gained, Opportunities Gained and Strokes Gained: Putting.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Best Bets
Justin Thomas Outright Winner (+1400)
This is similar to my analysis for The Sentry earlier this year; Thomas is due for a win.
Thomasโ last PGA Tour win came at the 2022 PGA Championship, which is approaching two full years ago. While the 2023 season was subpar by his standards, he turned it around in 2024 and has been even better in 2025.
The 31-year-old is coming off a solo second at The American Express and finished T-26 at The Sentry but closed that tournament with a 63 on Sunday. Thomas seems to be playing some of his best golf in quite some time.
While he doesnโt have the greatest course history at Pebble Beach compared to other top players, he did finish T-6 a year ago. He also ranks high in several key metrics, including Proximity 100-125 yards, where he is ranked No. 1 in the entire field, according to Fantasy National.
Patrick Cantlay Top-10 Finish (+160)
Cantlay has some of the best course history at this event, gaining the third most strokes in the last five editions of the tournament. He has four straight top-11 finishes at Pebble Beach, including two top-5s.
Like Thomas, Cantay also enters in good form with a T-5 at The American Express.
Getting him at this price to finish inside the top 10 at a place he hasnโt finished worse than T-11 in the last four years makes a ton of sense.
Beau Hossler Top-20 Finish (+180)
Yes, this may seem like a bit of a long shot, but Hossler has had a ton of success at this event lately.
In the last three years, heโs finished third (2022), T-11 (2023) and T-14 (2024).ย ย
Donโt be surprised if he flies under the radar this week and has another solid week at Pebble.
