It is a big week on the PGA Tour.

Not only is it the Farmers Insurance Open from Torrey Pines, but it is also the return of Brooks Koepka to the PGA Tour.

It isn’t a PGA Tour signature event, but a number of big names are in the field, including Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, Hideki Matsuyama, Cameron Young and J.J. Spaun.

Schauffele has the best odds to win this week at +1400.

Players will play the North and South Courses the first two days, before just the South over the weekend. The South course is the harder of the two, and where the U.S. Open’s are played.

Key metrics this week include: Driving Distance, Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, Strokes Gained: Approach, Scrambling, Proximity: 200+ yards, Bogey Avoidance and Strokes Gained on long par-4s and long par-5s.

Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.

Farmers Insurance Open Best Bets

Taylor Pendrith Outright Winner +4000

Admittedly, this was a tough one this week, with a number of players under consideration.

Pendrith checks a number of boxes, including recent form and course history. While he missed the cut at The American Express last week, he finished T-6 at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Specific to Torrey Pines, he’s finished 16th or better in three of his last four starts, including a seventh-place result last year.

He’s one of the longer hitters on Tour, which should give him an advantage this week.

Cameron Young Top-20 Finish +100

Expect to see a lot of Young in this space this year, as I expect a monster season from the 28-year-old following finally getting his first PGA Tour win late last summer and having a tremendous Ryder Cup.

Young’s distance will serve him well this week.

I opted to play it a little safe this week, given it is his first event of the season, and his best finish here is a T-20 back in 2022.

Max Homa Top-20 Finish +188

While last year wasn’t the greatest for Homa, he seemed to find his groove late in the year, and that has continued in 2026.

He’s finished in the top-20 in three of his last four starts last year and opened this season with a T-27 at The American Express, where he excelled with his irons the last two days on the Stadium Course.

Torrey Pines is a place where he has good vibes. No. 1, being in his home state, but also a place he won back in 2023.
