Ludvig Aberg quickly established himself as one of the top performers at Augusta National.

Albeit in a limited sample size, Aberg finished as the runner-up on debut in 2024. He followed the result with a seventh-place finish at Augusta in 2025.

Those two results qualify as the only top-10s for Aberg at major championships in his career. Through eight major starts, the Swede finished inside the top-20 only three times.

Had Aberg come through as the 2024 Masters winner, he would have ended a longstanding record of debutants winning at Augusta.

Not since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979 has a first-timer won the Masters.
