One-and-Done Golf Picks for the 3M Open

Below, I’ve outlined three players worth a look for OAD pools this week at the 3M Open.

For those unfamiliar, OAD pools closely mirror an NFL survivor contest. Players select a golfer each week and earn their prize money at the conclusion of the event.

The catch? Contestants can only use a player once. Additionally, not all prize pools are created equally, which further adds to the game theory.

3 Best 3M Open One-and-Done Picks

Scottie Scheffler (+275)

If you haven’t used Scheffler yet, there are only two options left (if your league ends after the BMW Championship) so he is certainly worth considering.

This is a very weak field, so Scheffler should have a ton of success even though he’s never teed it up at TPC Twin Cities before.

With only one win so far this season, this seems like a great week for Scheffler to land his second.

Kurt Kitayama (+2500)

Kitayama has the second-best odds of anyone in the field, so he certainly is worth considering and has a good chance to be available.

He has a great course history – a win and a T-6 – and is playing some solid golf this year. Overall, he’s made 11 straight cuts.

Tony Finau (+5500)

Finau certainly isn’t having the best of seasons, but his course history is too good to ignore.

In seven appearances, he’s logged five top-25s, three top 10s and a win (2022).
