  • The Rocket Classic is June 26-29 from the Detroit Golf Club.
  • Collin Morikawa (+1200) has the best odds to win.
  • Cameron Young is an option, as he seeks his first PGA Tour win.

Following a few weeks in the Northeast, the PGA Tour will head to the Midwest for the Rocket Classic at the Detroit Golf Club, June 26-29.ย

It isnโ€™t a PGA Tour signature event, but a number of stars are in the field, including Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, Keegan Bradley and Hideki Matsuyama.

Going into the week, Morikawa has the best odds to win at +1200.

Detroit Golf Club has hosted the tournament each year since it debuted in 2019. In four of the six years, the winning score has been 20-under or better. Expect plenty of birdies to be made this week.

Rocket Classic Prediction

Collin Morikawa is predicted to win the Rocket Classic with a 7.69% implied probability, according to betting markets. Patrick Cantlay is next at 6.67%.

Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.

Rocket Classic Best Bets

Cameron Young Outright Winner (+2500)

Tommy Fleetwood seeking his first PGA Tour win was a big storyline last week, and Young is another top player in the same boat.

The 28-year-old has had a number of close calls, including in majors, but hasnโ€™t sealed the deal. Like Fleetwood, he has a ton of talent, highlighted by playing on the 2022 Presidents Cup team.

His length off the tee is perfect for Detroit Golf Club, where he finished T-6 last year and T-2 in 2022.

Wyndham Clark Top-10 Finish (+300)

It hasnโ€™t been the greatest of years for Clark, who hasnโ€™t had a top-10 finish since the end of March. But, he is coming off a T-17 at the Travelers, which is his best finish since a T-5 at the Texas Childrenโ€™s Houston Open.

Clarkโ€™s distance will help him this week, and he tends to perform best at places where he can make a ton of birdies, highlighted by his 64 in the first round last week at TPC River Highlands.

Aldrich Potgieter Top-20 Finish (+400)

Based on the two players above, I am targeting players who hit it a long way and Potgieter is no different.ย

Heโ€™s one of the longest hitters on the PGA Tour, and given the past history at this event with long hitters having success, Potgieter should be no different.

While he may not have the overall game to contend, itโ€™s plenty good to potentially get into the top 20.
