Valspar Championship 2026: Odds, Past Winners, Best Course History

Fresh off a thrilling Players Championship, the Florida Swing will conclude this week with the Valspar Championship from the Copperhead Course just outside Tampa Bay.

Although not a PGA Tour signature event, several big names are in the field, including Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick and Jordan Spieth.

Justin Thomas, Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele have the best course history at the Cooperhead Course at the Valspar Championship.

Justin Thomas

Thomas has gained the most strokes here in the last five editions of the tournament. He’s finished inside the top 10 in three of his last four appearances.

Viktor Hovland

Hovland has gained the second-most strokes at this event in the last five years. He’s only played the event three times and has won and finished T-33 and T-3.

Xander Schauffele

While he has yet to win here, Schauffele has gained the fourth-most strokes over the last five years. In three appearances, he’s finished no worse than T-12.
