Wyndham Championship 2025: Predictions, Prop Bets

The PGA Tour regular season will wrap up this week with the Wyndham Championship from Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. 

It is not a PGA Tour signature event, but several big names are in the field, as well as a number of players looking to improve their standing for the FedEx Cup Playoffs, as well as keeping their PGA Tour card for next season. 

As of Tuesday, Matt Fitzpatrick has the best odds to win at +2000. 

Aaron Rai is the defending champion.

Sedgefield Country Club plays to just over 7,000 yards, so it is not long at all by PGA Tour standards. When looking at players to target this week, those who have had past success on shorter courses, particularly those who make a lot of birdies, are ones to highly consider.

The winning score over the last several years has been around 20-under.

Wyndham Championship Prediction

Matt Fitzpatrick is predicted to win the Wyndham Championship with a 4.76% implied probability, according to betting markets. Aaron Rai and Ben Griffin are next at 3.85%.

Implied probability is the overall chance of a potential outcome in relation to the odds.

Wyndham Championship Prop Bets

Nico Echavarria Outright Winner (+8000)

With no true star player in the field, it is a tightly bunched oddsboard this week. Because of this, it could be worth looking at a player lower on the board than usual.

Echavarria has had an up-and-down season but has had the bulk of his success at shorter courses, including losing in a playoff at the Sony Open. 

History has also shown that players who play well at the Rocket Classic have had success at this event, and he finished T-6 last month. 

Hideki Matsuyama Top-10 Finish (+350)

Overall, it has been a disappointing year for Matsuyama, who has just one top 10 on the year, which was his win at the first event of the year, The Sentry. 

With that being said, he’s turned it around of late. He enters with back-to-back T-16 or better finishes – the Open Championship (T-16) and the Rocket Classic (T-13).

Specific to this event and Sedgefield Country Club, he has a T-3 and a T-11.

Jordan Spieth Top-20 Finish (+175)

Spieth is one of the players in the field looking to improve his standing for the FedEx Cup Playoffs, as well as make a good impression on Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley.

After missing a few weeks due to a neck injury suffered at the Travelers Championship and the birth of his third child, Spieth returned at the Open Championship a few weeks ago.

With the rust knocked off, Spieth will be looking for a good showing in Greensboro.
