After a bye in Week 9, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2) rose one spot in the NFC to take the number three seed. The NFL betting odds place the Bucs as nine-and-a-half-point road favorites in Week 10.

They’ll be facing the Washington Football Team (2-6).

How many points can the Buccaneers score on the road this week? Let’s find out.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers: NFL Week 10 Road Favorites

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-2 on the road this season. In their first road loss, they fell 34-24 to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. Before their bye week, they lost on the road to the New Orleans Saints by nine points.

Still, with Tom Brady at the helm, the defending Super Bowl champions look poised to be the team to beat in the NFL playoff picture.

They’ve averaged nearly 33 points per game, third-best in the NFC behind the Arizona Cardinals and the Rams (two teams yet to have their bye week).

Due to injuries, wide receivers Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin didn’t practice on Wednesday. Tight end Rob Gronkowski also sat.

Surprisingly, the Bucs are 0-4 ATS on the road this year. They’ll need their offensive weapons to be healthy if they have a shot at covering such a wide margin.

It just so happens that the WFT is 0-4 ATS at home.

Can the Bucs have an above-average game offensively this Sunday?

Bucs vs. WFT

So far this season, the WFT has given up an average of slightly more than 28 points per game. That’s the same average for their 1-3 record at home.

As for the Bucs, they’ve averaged 24.5 points per game on the road. The odds for that exact point total against the WFT stand at -286 for the over and +210 for the under.

At 31.5, the over offers -105 odds and -133 for the under.

Next, the Bucs are getting +155 odds to hit an over at 34.5.

The expectations for Brady’s offense seem to be high in Week 10 but not too extreme.

Keep your eye on the health of Gibson, Godwin, and Gronkowski. That might be a critical component for the Buc’s high-scoring potential this week.

Running Back Leonard Fournette As a Rising Star for the Bucs

Lately, running back Leonard Fournette has been given a bulk of the carries for the Bucs. All of his four rushing touchdowns came in the team’s last five games.

During that span, Fournette averaged nearly nine yards per reception, as well. So, he should be good for almost 70 yards and possibly a touchdown against the WFT.

In Week 6, the Bucs had a road game against another NFC East team, the Philadelphia Eagles. In that matchup, Fournette carried the ball 22 times for 81 yards and two scores.

Brady threw for just shy of 300 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

The Bucs beat the Eagles, 28-22.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: A Great Bet This Week?

I think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offer great value in Week 10. They should perform very well on the road against a lackluster WFT.
