Tottenham vs. Brighton Premier League: Odds, Analysis, & Predictions

Tottenham is one of the Premier League’s best teams, and after a 4-0 rout of Aston Villa last weekend, Antonio Conte’s men have the wind in their sails.

Tottenham has been prolific this calendar year, scoring the most goals in England’s top-flight (34), and perhaps more tellingly, they have totaled more points than bitter rival Arsenal over the past five months. They’ve also been dominant in EPL betting lately.

However, Tottenham will be well aware that Saturday’s visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – Brighton – stunned the Gunners last weekend at the Emirates. And Graham Potter’s men are aiming to become the first team since Hull City in 2008 to win back-to-back Premier League trips to North London.

The clash will have huge ramifications in terms of determining Tottenham’s top-four chances, so here are a few prediction for the match ahead of the matchup.

Tottenham Eases to Victory

One of the narratives surrounding Tottenham in the past is they have struggled in big moments. However, Conte’s club looks much more confident this season. 

Losing Matt Doherty for the remainder of the season due to a ligament injury was far from ideal timing as he was starting to hit form, but Tottenham has strength in depth.

Cristian Romero has been rock solid, while at the other end of the pitch they have Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane, and Son Heung-Min who have had strong seasons.

Tottenham will keep their foot firmly on the accelerator and looking at the correct score market, Tottenham to win 2-0 is tempting at +600.

Son Heung-Min to Bag a Double

Heung-Min has been vital to Tottenham’s success this season. 

While it didn’t seem likely Tottenham would be in the mix for a top-four spot earlier in the year, the South Korean has scored some important goals. Currently, he is second in the Premier League with 17 goals, trailing Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah by three. Last weekend, Heung-Min scored a hat trick against.

Against Brighton, Heung-Min will be looking to continue the momentum, so the prop of him scoring at least two goals of +400 might be a good bet.

Tight Until Halftime

Brighton will do all they can to frustrate their opponents and Tottenham will have to be patient.
