A title victory this season would continue an impressive run for City domestically. Since appointing Pep Guardiola as manager in 2017, the club has won six titles in eight attempts.
Those six titles have lifted City to 10 total domestic crowns. Eight of those 10 titles have come since the 2011 Premier League season.
City started the 2025-26 campaign slowly, but has steadily regained form. After a 1-0-2 (W-D-L) start, Guardiola guided his team to a 4-1-1 (W-D-L) string of results in its last six fixtures.
That leaves Manchester City with 16 points, six behind current league leaders Arsenal. Earlier this season, City took points from Arsenal in a 1-1 draw.
Despite the strong run, minimal movement has affected City’s title price. Prior to Matchday 9, oddsmakers listed City at +350 to win the league title.
After Liverpool’s loss at Brentford, oddsmakers moved City to +275. Following City’s loss against Aston Villa, Guardiola’s side reopened at +450 to win the league.
