Arsenal will head across London on Sunday as they will meet West Ham at London Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s men have experienced an upturn in fortunes after back-to-back wins over Chelsea and Manchester United, which has improved their Premier League odds. They are looking good for a top-fourth berth.

West Ham, in the meantime, is now putting all their eggs into the Europa League basket in terms of qualifying for the Champions League. A 1-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend leaves them languishing in the seventh spot, eight points adrift of the Gunners.

London derbies are always special occasions and Arsenal will be relishing the opportunity to complete a sweep over West Ham, having enjoyed a 2-0 win back in December at the Emirates.

This has the ingredients to be a tasty game, so with that in mind, I have selected a couple of Premier League betting tips for you to ponder ahead of time.

Arsenal to Cruise to Victory

Arsenal has turned things around.

Just a few weeks ago, things looked shaky when they came unstuck against Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton. However, they capitalized on a poor Chelsea performance last week and they thoroughly merited all three points against Manchester United with Granit Xhaka’s superb long-range strike the best of the goals.

The top-four race will come down to the wire, but you sense that the Gunners will seize this opportunity with both hands.

West Ham, on the other hand, has been on a downward spiral totaling just one win in their past five Premier League outings. They are still battling for a top-six finish.

When these two sides last met at London Stadium last year, the Hammers surged to a 3-0 lead in the first half but the Gunners recovered from their tepid start to claim a 3-3 tie.

I think the Gunners will have things more under control this time around and I like the +1250 price in the Correct Score market for Arsenal to win 3-1, which doesn’t actually seem that far of a stretch and it could be worth pursuing.

West Ham To Keep It Tight in First Half

West Ham has made serious strides under David Moyes this season and while they are generally a well-drilled unit, the Gunners will hurt them with the pace they boast in Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah.

The Hammers though could argue their defense has been more solid, allowing an average of 1.53 goals per league game, which is slightly better than the Gunners’ 1.58.

However, with just three home wins to their name in Premier League history against Arsenal, this would suggest that the Gunners are something of a bogey side for West Ham.

They will look to be defensively disciplined and they could keep the Gunners at bay in the first half before the Gunners put their foot on the gas in the second half.

I think the halftime markets always throw up some interesting odds. I am going to be bold and suggest that it will be all square at halftime and there is an intriguing price of +115, which could be worth jumping on.
