Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn: Prediction

I predict a TKO/KO win for Garcia over Benn because of the gap in speed. Garcia will have the advantage in movement, thanks to his blinding hand speed paired with incredible power. This has been his bread and butter in his pro career.

Benn does have one-punch knockout power, but if he misses a lot, he’ll surely tire himself out. A big challenge for him is to catch Garcia with one of his vicious punches, but it’s going to be hard since he doesn’t throw a lot and doesn’t set them up properly.

Another big catalyst in this match is the weight cut Benn will have, since he’s going down to the 147-pound weight class once more for the first time in four years. He has competed in the junior middleweight in his last five bouts, so this is going to be a grueling battle for him to make the limit.

Ryan Garcia’s Recent Fight Results

Garcia is the current WBC welterweight champion. But in his last five fights, he recorded two wins (Oscar Duarte and Mario Barrios), two losses (Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero), and one no-contest (Devin Haney).

Conor Benn’s Recent Fight Results

Benn is a boxing sensation from England. He racked up four wins and one loss in his last five matches. Benn’s victories were against Rodolfo Orozco, Peter Dobson, Chris Eubank Jr., and Regis Prograis. His only defeat in this period was to Eubank Jr. during their first meeting.
